I am Accepted Because I Have Been Bought With a Price

1 Corinthians 6:19–20 reminds us that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and that we are not our own, for we have been bought with a price. Those who have been redeemed by God now belong fully to Him. He did not purchase us with gold, silver, or earthly riches, but with the most valuable gift of all—the precious blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. This shows how much our lives are worth to God.

Our worth is not measured by our intelligence, wealth, beauty, or power in this world. In the eyes of God, we are worth the blood of Jesus. Because He bought us, we are now His possession, and He guards what is His. Nothing on earth or in hell can snatch us from His hand.

When we begin to think negatively about our life or wish we were someone else, we must listen to God’s Word. Our life has extreme value because of the price that was paid for us. Just like we carefully protect something we’ve paid dearly for, God protects and cares for us. He insures us with His promises, and He surrounds us with His love.

Let God’s Word, not the world’s standards, define your value. You belong to Him, and that means you are accepted, cherished, and eternally secure in His hands.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that I am not my own, but that I belong to You. Thank You for paying the ultimate price through the blood of Jesus to redeem me. Help me to see my worth through Your eyes and not through the standards of this world. Guard my heart from negative thoughts and remind me daily that I am accepted, cherished, and protected as Your possession. May my life honor You as Your temple, filled with Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
