Trust God in the Waiting

“Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!” - Psalm 27:14

Waiting is one of the hardest places for our faith to live. We often want God to answer immediately, but God does not promise that every prayer will be answered according to our timetable.
The woman in Mark 5 waited twelve years. Twelve years is a long time to keep hoping.
Yet when she heard that Jesus was nearby, she still reached for Him. Sometimes faith has to survive the waiting room.
Waiting does not mean God is absent. Waiting does not mean God has forgotten you.
And waiting does not mean you have to stop trusting Him. There may be things happening that you cannot see or understand. God may be teaching you to trust His character even when you cannot see His plan. So while you wait, keep praying, keep worshiping, keep reading the Word, and keep believing.

Action Points:

• Give God the situation you have been waiting on and consciously surrender the timeline.

• When discouragement comes, say: “God is faithful, even while I wait.”

Prayer:
Father, waiting is difficult, but I choose to trust You. Strengthen my heart when I become discouraged and remind me that Your timing is not a sign that You have forgotten me. Help me trust Your wisdom when I cannot understand what You are doing. Teach me to wait with faith instead of fear. In Jesus’ name, amen.
